  • 400 grams of Fried Shrimp
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Colman’s Mustard Paste, Recommended
  • 4 Green Chillies
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Wild Coriander Leaves

Instructions

Marinate the Shrimp: In a bowl, mix 400 grams of shrimp, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp turmeric, and 1/4 tsp red chilli powder. Coat the shrimp well.

Fry the Shrimp: Heat 1/4 cup oil on medium heat. Fry the marinated shrimp for 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.

Make the Mustard Gravy: In the same oil, add 1 cup sliced onion and cook until golden brown. Add 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste, 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp red chili powder, 1/2 tsp ground coriander, 1/3 tsp salt, and 1/3 cup water. Stir and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Combine: Add 1/2 cup yoghurt and the fried shrimp. Cook for 1 minute.

Simmer: Add 1 cup water, bring to a boil, and add 1/2 cup mustard paste. Cook for 5 minutes.

Finish: Add 4 green chilies, 1 tbsp lemon juice, and 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves. Stir and cook for another 30 seconds.

Serve: Transfer to a plate and enjoy!
