This Jamba Juice Razzmatazz Recipe is very smooth and delicious. It has a lovely balance of sweet, tangy, and bright colors!

Jamba Juice is expensive so I don’t buy it often. However, I love the Razzmatazz smoothie. To avoid eating out, I tried making it at home.

After looking through a lot of different online sources, I finally came up with a method that I can share with you. Here’s my Razzmatazz-inspired smoothie recipe.

This smoothie was made in four different ways. I finally decided on the best one, which I will share with you.

Alternative version

You can make the same results, but it won’t be as raspberry-y as the above version. However, this version is simpler because you don’t need to make raspberry juice.

  • 14 Frozen Strawberries
  • 30 Frozen Blueberries
  • 1 1/2 Cup Frozen Raspberries (This version doesn’t contain raspberry juice, so you can use whole raspberries instead)
  • 2 cups Apple Juice
  • 1 1/2 Cup Orange Sherbet
  • 1/2 – 1 Frozen Banana
  • Ice Cubes

Directions

Supplies:

Blender – I use Blendtec, which is great for thicker things like smoothies.

Measurement cups

Strain Raspberries seeds using a Mesh Strainer, Straining Bag, or Cheesecloth.

What fruits you will use?

Frozen fruit is the best choice for smoothies.

The main reason for this is that you want your drink to be thick and frozen so it is easier to use fruit that has already been frozen.

Frozen fruit is also cheaper, so why not? The fruit doesn’t have to be perfect because it will be blended anyway.

Many fruits can be frozen. Bananas are one exception. I recommend slicing bananas and freezing them if you are making smoothies. It makes it simple to grab a few and put them in the blender.

You can also buy frozen mixed berry packs, but I wouldn’t recommend it. It all depends on what you can get your hands on. The majority of them, though, have a blackberry. They also tend to be mostly blackberry so it is not worth the effort. Take the individual fruits. You will then know exactly what you are buying.

Liquid

Just a quick note to say that I have tried a few liquids and I can recommend them.

You could use water instead, but the result of my smoothie was quite plain. It helps keep calorie and sugar counts down, but it doesn’t seem to be worth it taste-wise.

You can also choose to drink just apple juice or orange juice. Although apple juice isn’t as flavorful as other juices, it’s still better than the recommended Raspberry juice. Although orange juice is an option, the result will have a strong orange flavor. It tastes good, but you won’t get the raspberry taste you desire.

You can add orange juice to make orange sherbet if you don’t want to use it.

If your smoothie seems too thick when you make it, add more liquid.

Making Raspberry Juice

Raspberry juice is essential if you want it to taste great. You can either buy the right product or make it.

All you have to do now is mash the raspberries and filter off the seeds. A strainer bag or mesh strainer can be used. The bag was fine for me, but it is a pain in the neck. The bag can only be used once. If you have too many, it becomes difficult to get liquid out.

This can be quite tedious so I suggest making several batches and then freezing the rest in an ice tray or another silicon mold. When you know you will want another smoothie, make sure to take out some raspberry juice cups and let them cool down.

You can freeze it but I recommend that you calculate how many ice cubes are in each one so you can determine how many you will need to dethaw.

Is Jamba Juice Razzmatazz Recipe healthier?

It is clear that smoothies are not healthy. These drinks are high in calories and often contain a lot of sugar. This recipe is no different. By adding some greens, you can make it healthier.

As they are nutritious and don’t add any flavor to your drink, kale, spinach, and cabbage can be great. Some things, such as spinach, can be bought frozen. However, you can blanch and freeze your vegetables. This is what I did with kale. It was frozen in a round mold so that I could grab some discs to add to my smoothies.

Frozen Kale

Avocado is also a great addition to any dish. Fresh avocado can be used. Alternatively, mash the avocado and add lemon or lime juice to produce a paste. Then place it in an ice tray or mold to freeze. It could be added frozen (I haven’t tried it yet), or it can be let dethaw before adding it.

You can also add protein powders, chia seed, and plain greek yogurt to your smoothie (possibly in place of sherbert).

Mixing:

After you have gotten past all the nonsense, it’s time to mix your ingredients.

Keep in mind that if the mixture seems too thick, you can use your tamper to add liquid.

To make your drink appear thinner, add extra ice cubes.

It should be a dark red. It was difficult to capture the color. It would look very different outside and inside the house.

Sources

Grocery Store Version: I bought this to test it out. It’s a fruit mixture of blueberries, raspberries, blueberries, bananas, and strawberries. It’s fine. However, it’s easier and cheaper to buy bulk fruits and make your own.

Jamba Juice description: On the website, they state what’s inside it. It’s merely a matter of calculating the amount. They don’t mention blueberries, but they do say mixed berry juice. Based on the grocery store version, I believe it to be raspberry and blueberry.

Ex-Employee: While looking up this information, a former employee actually tells what they put into it. They just use scoops instead of measurements

Conclusion On Jamba Juice Razzmatazz Recipe

Jamba Juice Razzmatazz Recipe is healthier than the original and vegan. It’s perfect for people who want dairy-free smoothies, but don’t need all the sugar in Jamba juices or other smoothie shop recipes.

The creamy texture of the soy yogurt or coconut yogurt is perfect for summer days, making it a filling and delicious smoothie.

You can make this in any blender. However, a blender with a powerful motor (such as a Blendtec, Vitamix, or Vitamix), will be able to blend the berry seeds more effectively.
