Instructions
In a pot, bring 8 cups of water to a boil; remove from heat.
Add tea bags to the hot water and let them steep for 4-5 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.
Remove the tea bags and stir in the granulated sugar while the tea is still warm.
Keep stirring until the sugar completely dissolves.
Pour the concentrated tea into a pitcher.
Mix in the remaining 8 cups of water with the concentrated tea in the pitcher.
Allow the sweet tea to cool to room temperature.
Once cooled, pour the sweet tea into glasses that are packed with ice cubes.
Garnish each glass with a lemon wedge for a refreshing twist.
