Ingredients
For Simple Syrup:
- ½ cup Sugar
- ½ cup Water
For Whiskey Smash:
- 1 ½ oz Yellowstone Bourbon Whiskey, Recommended
- 1 ⅓ oz Stirring Simple Syrup, Recommended
- 1 oz Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
- ⅔ oz Aperol Liquor and Spirits
- ⅔ oz Monin Passion Fruit Puree, Recommended
- 1 Dash Peychaud's Aromatic Cocktail Bitters
- Ice Cubes
Instructions
For the Simple Syrup:
- Mix equal parts of sugar and boiling water together. Stir it until all the sugar is dissolved.
- Let it chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before you use it.
For the Whiskey Smash:
- Put all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker, except for the ice.
- Add some ice to the shaker, and then shake it hard for about 15 to 20 seconds.
- Strain the mixture from the shaker into a glass that's filled with fresh ice.
- To make it look nice, you can add an Orange wheel on top.
