  • Start by spraying your waffle iron with cooking spray, and then preheat it to a medium-high temperature.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, white sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the egg whites until they form stiff peaks. This should take about 2 minutes.
  • In another large bowl, mix together the egg yolks, vegetable oil, milk, and vanilla extract.
  • Now, add the sifted flour mixture to the bowl with the egg yolks and mix until everything is well combined.
  • Carefully fold the beaten egg whites into the mixture. Be gentle so that you keep the fluffiness.
  • For each waffle, spoon about 1/2 cup of the batter onto the preheated waffle iron.
  • Cook the waffle until it turns golden and easily comes off the iron. This usually takes around 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Once your waffle is ready, serve it hot with a dollop of strawberry butter and a drizzle of vanilla maple syrup.
