Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  • In a big bowl, combine the old-fashioned oats, chopped pecans, light brown sugar, shredded coconut, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  • In a saucepan, heat up the vegetable oil, maple syrup, and honey until they're warm but not boiling. Then, whisk in the vanilla extract.
  • Carefully pour the warm liquid mixture over the dry oat mixture. Stir gently with a wooden spoon until everything is well mixed. You may need to use your hands to finish mixing.
  • Take a 15x10-inch baking pan and spread the granola mixture evenly inside.
  • Place the baking pan in the preheated oven and bake for 40 minutes. Remember to stir the granola every 10 minutes to ensure it bakes evenly.
  • Once it's done baking, remove the pan from the oven and place it on a cooling rack. Let the granola cool completely in the pan.
  • After the granola has cooled, stir in the raisins. They add a delicious sweetness.
  • Enjoy your homemade Panera-style granola with yogurt, milk, or as a tasty snack!
