For Macaroni:

  • Bring 4 to 6 quarts of water to a boil in a pot.
  • Add vegetable oil and salt to the pot.
  • Add the macaroni and cook for 10 to 12 minutes or until al dente.
  • Drain the macaroni water and set the macaroni aside.
  • In a pot, bring 3 cups of water to a boil.
  • Boil the carrots until they are soft.
  • Rinse and set aside the carrots.

For Macaroni Salad:

  • In a large mixing bowl add cooked macaroni, chopped bell peppers, carrots, chopped celery, mayonnaise, grape tomatoes, sugar, pepper, and salt.
  • Using a wooden spoon, combine all of the ingredients.
  • Your macaroni salad is ready to serve!
