- 1 tsp finely grated orange zest

- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk and save the white for brushing the top
- 1/2 cup add-ins

Add freshly grated orange zest.

This Bisconie recipe is so good. The recipe uses an electric mixer with a paddle attachment to mix the flour and butter mixture.
However, I just use an electric mixer to incorporate the butter into the flour mixture, and it works perfectly. Then I add the liquid mixture with a dough mixer to prevent it from over mixing. This recipe makes 12 large Bisconies or 16 small Bisconies.

- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 ts. baking soda
- 1-1/2 ts. salt
- 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
- 11/2 cup) unsalted butter (cold and cubes)
- 4 large eggs (lightly beaten)
- 1/4 cup fresh-squeezed orange juice
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons orange extract or vanilla extract
- 11/2 cups dried cranberries

preheat the oven to 400 degrees. F.

- 110 Grams icing sugar
