For Baking The Wings:

For Hot Honey Sauce:

Instructions

  • Start by preheating your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
  • Sprinkle the chicken wings with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Make sure they are evenly coated.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the seasoned wings on it.
  • Put the wings in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  • After 20 minutes, take the wings out and flip them over using tongs.
  • Pop the wings back in the oven for 15-20 minutes to make sure they cook evenly and get crispy.
  • In a bowl or mixing cup, mix together the honey, hot sauce, and melted butter. Try the sauce and make it sweeter or spicier as you prefer. You can add extra honey for sweetness or more hot sauce for extra heat.
  • Once the wings are done baking and crispy, remove them from the oven. Place them in a large bowl and drizzle half of the hot honey sauce over them. Toss the wings in the sauce until they are coated evenly.
  • Return the sauced wings to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 5 minutes. This helps the sauce to stick to the wings.
  • Ensure that the chicken wings have reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius) using a meat thermometer to ensure they are fully cooked.
  • Serve your delicious Wingstop Hot Honey Wings with the reserved hot honey sauce for dipping.

Notes

If you like sweeter wings then you can add more honey to the sauce.
For spicier wings, reduce the honey and consider adding cayenne pepper to the seasoning or more hot sauce to the sauce.
If you want breaded wings, you can toss the wings in a mixture of baking powder or flour before baking to get a crispy coating.
