Cut the cabbage into pieces and chop the pieces in a food processor.
You may need to apply this in several batches.
Transfer the chopped cabbage to a large mixing bowl.
Peel the celery sticks and finely chop them and add to the bowl.
Peel the white onion and finely chop them and add to the bowl.
Mix the veggies with your hand or a spoon.
Add mayonnaise, Pickle Relish, White Sugar, Salt and Black Pepper to taste.
