  • Cutting Board

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Set the oven's temperature to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Begin by washing your potatoes and removing any sprouts.
  • Take pieces of foil and spray them with cooking spray.
  • Use a knife or a fork to cut a slit through the potatoes. By doing this, the potatoes won't blow up when baking.
  • Put the potatoes on separate sheets of foil. Brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with seasoning salt.
  • In order to seal the foil, press it firmly against the potato. Bake the potato for an hour, or until it is soft.
  • Cut a small hole about halfway down the middle of the potato. From the ends, squish it in. Add butter, sour cream, cheese, green onions, salt, and pepper to the top.

Notes

  • Red Lobster usually serves Russet potatoes for its baked potatoes. If you have red or yellow skins, these make delicious baked potatoes.
  • After you have washed and dried your baked potato, always poke a hole.
  • You should cover your potato at least half the time it's baking in the oven.
  • Before baking, brush butter or olive oil over the potatoes' exterior.
  • Season your potatoes with seasonings before baking. This will enhance their flavour after they have been baked.
